And you thought rock was dead
This is one of the more bizzare episodes I've watched/read about in some time. A cop in Houston responded to a noise complaint by going onstage at a club called Walter's on Washington and tackling the guitar player for the San Francisco band Two Gallants, body-slamming the drummer, and breaking the bass player's 90 year-old upright.
Oh. And then he Tasered a 14 year-old.
I mean, Two Gallants? Two Gallants!?! Have you actually heard these guys? Mastodon it's not. I'm sure this unruly crowd of bespeckled nerds was ready to riot, Unix style, and everything, but couldn't you have just stuck with a simple beat down? Did you really need to go all Hulkamania on the upright?

Even aside from the police brutality aspect, the officer was supposed to be responding to a noise complaint – even a dunce knows that the sound levels at a gig are controlled from the mixing desk, not from the stage, so he had no business being up there anyway. What a plonker.
