QotD: My Earliest Memory
What is your earliest memory?

Virginia Beach. I'm about two. I'm playing in the bed of my dad's pickup truck, which is parked in the driveway. I was rolling a HotWheels car across the wall (?) of the bed--I don't know what you call it, the part that encloses the bed on two sides and adjoins the tailgate. Whatever. I'm running my little car across the top of that thing, and as it went over one of the holes where a gate fits in (Non-southerners, are you confused yet?), it dropped, and fell in. Gravity! I had discovered gravity!
I cried. I remember parents came over to see what was wrong. I do not know if I got my car back.
